We have an established professional partnership with the primary care center Medizin Währing. Patients receive continuous general medical care there, including the preparation of surgical approvals, the issuance of necessary specialist referrals, and structured pre-, peri-, and postoperative support. Close coordination enables reliable and coordinated care throughout the entire course of treatment.

For patients from Lower Austria, the cooperation with Dr. Nicole Schönbauer provides structured, local care. As part of the referral by the family doctor, patients are seen in my practice after a general medical examination and the corresponding indication has been made. On this basis, further diagnostics and surgical planning can be coordinated and the individual treatment steps can be arranged.

University Professor Dr. René H. Fortelny, FEBS-AWS, and I have been working together for many years in an established surgical partnership. As specialists in general and visceral surgery with a focus on abdominal wall and hernia surgery, we closely coordinate treatment strategies and surgical planning. This collaboration enables highly specialized, structured, and quality-assured care from preoperative planning to postoperative care, especially for complex abdominal wall reconstructions, robot-assisted hernia surgery, and demanding visceral surgical procedures.
